Wii launch
My roommate and I both bought Wiis on launch day. Here the glory and adventure of launch is recorded for all.
20:52 Day before launch
This is the day before launch; they have been waiting since 8:30am. These are the hardcore people. I aspire to be like them
I meant to get up at 4:30. See comment above about my aspirations. Hopefully there are still some places in line.
It's cold out.
Target is the place. It seems BestBuy, Meijer, and Wal-Mart are already swamped. We end up 13th and 14th out of 24.
It's freezing, but everyone is having a good time. Out of these people, two are getting Wiis to sell later.
We're queueing up for the ticket handout.
Wait a sec, is this another PS3 line? Why else would a cop drop by?
Nope... this sure looks like a Wii line.
Yay! The tickets!
Target handed out some popcorn and soda. However, a real breakfast is needed.
Off to Burger King. They provide the breakfast of choice for all discerning Wii fans.
